Train Dreams, with music by Bryce Dessner, won best score for an independent film.
Göransson and Ryan Coogler received the Spirit of Collaboration Award.
Ching-Shan Chang won the David Raksin Award for emerging talent.
Other winners included Theodore Shapiro for Severance and Cristóbal Tapia de Veer for The White Lotus.
Austin Wintory won for Sword of the Sea in Interactive Media.
