India has been selected as one of the seven host nations for the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026 Qualifiers, scheduled from November 22 to 30, 2025, at The Arena in Ahmedabad. A total of 38 teams will compete in seven groups, with the top team from each group qualifying for the tournament. AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey expressed pride in hosting, highlighting its significance for young players and Indian football development. Gujarat’s Sports Minister, Harsh Sanghavi, emphasized the event’s importance for showcasing Gujarat’s sports culture. India is placed in Pot 2 and has a special “Hosts Pot” for the draw.
