Axie Infinity will airdrop bAXS, a new token backed 1:1 by AXS, to eligible AXS stakers based on a February 5 snapshot.
100,000 bAXS will be distributed to wallets staking at least 10 AXS. Airdrop allocation considers Axie Score and staked AXS amount.
bAXS will function like AXS, enabling in-game activities, but incentivizes Axie economy use.
Jeffrey Zirlin anticipates increased demand for bAXS with upcoming part upgrades (“part evolution”), Atia’s Legacy, and Terrariums.
