40 liters of unsafe cooking oil and 40 kg rotten tomatoes found in a popular fast food outlet in Jaipur

A Jaipur McDonald’s was found to be using cooking oil with unsafe levels of Total Polar Compounds (TPC), reaching 31% and posing potential health risks like heart disease and carcinogenic compound generation. Inspectors found the oil dark and unusable, exceeding the 25% safety threshold. Approximately 40 liters of oil were destroyed on the spot, and fresh oil was ordered for immediate use. In addition, 40 kg of rotten tomatoes were discovered and destroyed. The outlet manager was instructed to use fresh oil immediately, and an improvement notice will be issued. McDonald’s states they are cooperating and adhering to food safety guidelines.
